3D Animation over AI Environment

Problem:
AI-generated animations are good, but if the main subject, in this case, an Indy Formula One with particular Logos and markings, is distorted and cannot be used in real production for the client. The solution is to combine a 3D animated car composite directly in 3D software. The method of front projection allows the car to interact visually with the animated 2D animation created by AI; however, this poses the problem that the AI cannot generate accurate scenes without the car present.

Solution:
A single frame is generated with a scaled version of the vehicle and used to create the AI animation. Note that the background was also generated through the Hybrid Process.

3D Composite Process

The 3D Indy Car has been used to create a composite, which is now ready for AI animation; however, it was made in 1/3 scale, as it will be covered by the final animation composite with the full-size version, and the smaller car will be masked out. This serves two purposes:

AI Generative will put the Vehicle in motion; however, the prompt explicitly states that it is a minute remote-control car on a real track, so it does not zoom in on the Vehicle.
The AI-generated video is used in 3D and initially scaled down to match the scaled Vehicle in the video for the frame-matching process.
The 3D Vehicle is scaled back to its original full size, and all the frames are rendered and compiled into a new video with a clean look, a sharp logo, and markings.
The final composite video is then taken to the Video Upscaler for conversion into UHD. This is a 2-step process using Topaz Labs Video AI.

Using AI Video Enhancer to improve detail and sharpness, the final video is then upscaled to UHD

This footage was made with 4 AI platforms each unique on their abilities, where the stills are taken to creative suite for pre and later post production. AI generates maximum of 10 seconds and to create longer shots post production is essential.

Endless Possibilities

This footage required extensive research to accurately depict Zoroaster's outfit, and the symbol "Farvahar," a winged symbol with a male figure, was added to the AI-generated background pre-production.
