AI Hybrid Workflow

These case studies demonstrate how complex images are built for production and animation through a multi-layered process. Each project combines AI generation, Photoshop, and other enhancement techniques, with multiple AI passes and traditional workflows to refine the final scene.

AI Kitchen Campaign

Pre/Post-AI Production

Most AI tools struggle to produce fully complex images on their own. That’s why I approach the process differently: by starting with raw footage and images, then carefully composing them in Photoshop and enhancing with desktop AI tools such as Topaz. This layered method allows for precision and control that pure AI generation can’t always deliver.

The images below represent just a portion of the materials that went into creating the final video you see here. Each stage adds depth, refinement, and structure — from initial composites to polished frames.

The final pass was completed in Magnific AI, which transforms smooth but somewhat artificial outputs into photorealistic imagery. (See the before-and-after comparisons for the difference.)

Before

Hybrid Electric Aircraft

Engineering/3d/AI

From client CAD to a flyable concept, fast
The project began with a twin-engine pusher piston aircraft supplied by the client. I proposed—and was commissioned to create—an electric-hybrid variant. Using an engineering-driven, AI-accelerated CAD workflow, I can modify or build models 5–8× faster than conventional methods while holding ±0.1% accuracy. This delivers campaign-ready visuals in weeks instead of months, while also providing engineers with a reference model that reflects the intended configuration.

Creating what didn’t exist
No genset on the market matched the requirements—aircraft options were too large, and drone units were too small. I designed a compact high-RPM turbine genset with a custom transmission that downshifts to ~2,500 RPM for torque, plus integrated sensors for power, thermal, vibration, and health monitoring. This enables a dual-genset architecture driving four electric props while retaining the pusher piston engine for range and redundancy.

Variants for real missions

Seaplane: Amphibious configuration with float integration, buoyancy/CG balancing, corrosion protection, and optimized cooling for water operations. Ideal for coastal travel and island logistics.

Courier Drone: Scaled hybrid platform for payload delivery with modular battery/genset bays, swappable cargo pod, and distributed electric propulsion tuned for efficiency and reliability.

Outcome
A credible hybrid architecture, photoreal 3D visuals, and a handoff model that let the client launch marketing campaigns early while giving engineers a head start on validation and detail design.
